President Muhammadu Buhari said he ruled Nigeria to the best of his ability, and he said he did not embarrass the citizens.
The president who went to Bauchi state to continue the campaign of the APC party for the presidency and the governorship, said this when he visited the house of the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu.
Buhari said that thousands of people come out to welcome him wherever he goes, this clearly shows the love they have for him.
"I want to say that between 2003 and 2011, I visited all the local governments in Nigeria, and in 2019, when I was seeking to return to power for the second time, I visited all the states across the country, the people I saw came out to welcome me. , it is something that I cannot imagine because of their experience, at that time I promised to rule Nigeria and Nigerians to the best of my ability and until now I know that I have tried,'' said the president.
Earlier in his speech, the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman, said it is a good thing if political leaders show respect to the Kings and the kingdoms by paying them a visit.
He thanked President Buhari for the progress his government has brought in Bauchi, where he said the Kolmani oil extraction project is something that the people of the state and the North East will not forget.
