The roommate of the presidential candidate of the APC party, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has advised Nigerians not to re-elect her husband for a second term if he fails to do anything after four years.

Oluremi made this call at the Tinubu/Shettima women's campaign rally in the South East zone which took place in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.

She said, "Put aside the religious issue, I am a Christian."  Have you ever thought that one day there will be Christian and Christian candidates?

“What should be the source?  Since we tested Muslim and Christian candidates, let's test this too and see if after four years if they don't do anything, you can do away with them," she said.

She added that a person's religion should not be a concern in the matter of elections in Nigeria, instead the fear of God that a candidate has should be taken into consideration.

Because according to her, "If there is a person who fears God, it is not a Christian or a Muslim, but a person who fears God."  If a God-fearing person is in charge, he will give you the proper care.

As someone who has served Nigeria as the wife of a Governor and a Senator, Oluremi has assured Nigerian women that they will get a lot of share as long as Tinubu/Shettima form the government.

"Now is the time to work for Nigeria.  We are not kidding.  We will remember women and I assure you that Asiwaju will remember you.

“Tinubu/Shettima has good provisions for the youth.  We will work with each zone based on its needs,” said Oluremi.

Speaking at the meeting, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, called on the women of the South-East zone to be smart and vote for the APC presidential candidate in the upcoming election.
