The Reason Why I Don't Appear In Movies, Says Maryam CTV
Actress in Kannywood, Hajiya Maryam Sulaiman (Maryam CTV), said that her lack of appearance in movies now has nothing to do with whether she stopped making movies, she said that she is still doing it.
The actress, who is so good at appearing as a rich woman that she is nicknamed Hajiyar Falo, said this when she was talking to the source of Focus News Hausa, a film magazine about the news that she has stopped making movies.
Maryam CTV said: "I have not stopped making movies." I'm still doing it, but not as much as I was known to do before. Right now I'm doing little by little."
When you asked her the reason for that, she said, "Well, I am a politician." I am involved in politics, so now that I have returned to politics, I will appear less in movies because of my current political involvement.
"So people should stop thinking that I have left the film industry. I didn't let go. I do, but not very much."
Hajiya Maryam sent a message to her loved ones, she said: "I wish all my loved ones the best and that they are worried about me so much that they are asking about me." May God unite the filmmakers and bring us progress in the Kannywood industry as a whole."
