The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam NasÃru Ahmed El-Rufa'i, has reacted to the words of the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar regarding the currency exchange system of the Central Bank (CBN) where he has shown that Atiku is a bad person. He said by calling on the Central Bank of the country that they should not extend the deadline for closing the receipt of their old money which you set for February 10, where the former vice president of the country confirmed that he does not have mercy on the poor people who mostly they taste their money under the system.
Atiku initially supported the extension of the deadline, but later in the past few days he requested the central bank to extend the deadline beyond the 10th of February.
Governor El-Rufa'i stated that the APC government is not against the system of currency exchange and bank transfer, but it is concerned about the pressure and poverty of the poor people in the country as a whole.
Speaking yesterday in the popular program of journalists (Journalist hang-out) of TVC, the governor of Kaduna State said: currency exchange, we are not against the system. Regarding Atiku's refusal to extend the time, the former minister of Abuja, stated that it was a show of lack of concern for the extreme hardships of the poor.
