14 people were killed in an attack in northern Burkina Faso
Security officials in Burkina Faso said jihadists killed 14 people, including four soldiers, near the northern town of Kaya.
The attack comes at the same time that the interim president, Captain Ibrahim Traore, is visiting the area.
The attack was on a group of soldiers and some volunteer security workers who were working to provide security at a water supply facility in Zorkoum town.
The withdrawal of French troops from Burkina Faso and Mali, and their replacement by the mercenaries of Wagner's Russian team, did not do anything to stop the work of jihadists.
