The Governor-elect of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf has announced Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa as his chief media secretary for the transition period.
In a document signed by the chairman of the governor's transition committee on behalf of the governor of the state, the honorable governor declared the appointment of the Britisher as the one who is suitable for him based on his qualifications, trustworthiness, commitment, and hard work that he has shown since 2019.
Sanusi is an expert in media and public relations, development communication, and professional stakeholders with 19 years of experience working in international development, the private sector, and media in Nigeria.
He was the winner of the Cambridge Academic Award for Journalism in 2008. , the United States Domestic Development Agency (FCDO). USAID), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Save the Children International, Discovery Learning Alliance, and the Rockefeller Foundation.
He has held several positions including General Manager of Corporate Services at Dantata Foods and Allied Products Limited (DFAP), Director of Stakeholder Engagement at YieldWise Project, Country Program Manager at Girl Rising (ENGAGE) Project sponsored by the United States Government, Mai State Activities Management of MNCH Campaign.
