Abba Kabir Yusuf has accepted his election certificate as governor of Kano
The governor-elect of Kano state, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf of Dar received his certificate of election as the governor of the state in the governorship election that took place on March 18.
Yusuf, popularly known as Abba Gida-Gida, praised his close friend of the APC party, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.
Daily Nigerian Hausa reports that today is Wednesday, INEC has set as the day that it will give those who will kill the governorship and state assembly elections in every state.
Also, today, Abba Kabir, of the NNPP party, is receiving his testimony, together with the elected members of the state assembly.
Our representative who was present at the witnessing, who is at the INEC office in Kano, found out that the security forces have been deployed to ensure that the celebration is peaceful.
In the same way, the roads that are close to the INEC office were closed, while the supporters of the NNPP party gathered at the entrance to the office of the Electoral Commission.
