APC Fired Those Who Announced The Suspension Of Boss Mustapha From The Party
The APC Adamawa State branch has dismissed 25 members of its executive committee because of their role in announcing the suspension of the Secretary to the Federal Government, Boss Mustapha.
The chairman of the party in the constituency where Boss came from announced his suspension last week, on the basis of his accusations that the party was wronged in the previous elections.
However, the constituency where the Secretary of the Federal Government voted in Gwadabwa in Yola North Local Government, last week, rejected the suspension and the accusations made against him.
Speaking on Saturday, in Yola, the party's state secretary, Dr. Raymond Chidama, said the affected executive members have been suspended from the party for some time.
He said: “Therefore, the State Working Committee (SWC) has viewed the actions of these miscreants as a disgrace to the President and President and the entire party.
"All members of the suspended committee have been ordered to hand over the party's assets to the Chairman of Yola-Arewa Local Government immediately."
He also advised all the Sub-Committees of the party to consult with stakeholders before deciding on any member.
He then ordered the establishment of a seven-member caretaker committee as soon as possible to take over the management of the party's affairs in the constituency.
