Were there scheduling conflicts that prevented Bert Girigorie from making an appearance in Wendy Williams: The Movie, the highly anticipated biopic of Williams' life on Lifetime? Let's go to the bottom of the truth behind his disappearance.

Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter were married for a short time before they divorced last year. Her first husband was named Bert Girigorie, and they were married for only a year before she married Kevin.

Wendy Williams' ex-husband Bert Girigorie was born on March 13, 1964. He had a typical American upbringing in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. He reached his 57th year on this planet in the year 2021.

Bert Girigorie, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a "sales and marketing professional," per his Twitter profile. Williams was an on-air personality at Kiss FM, where he worked as an account executive.

If you believe LinkedIn, he has held the position of president at G2 Marketing since 2010. G2 Marketing describes itself as a "digital marketing business" that provides marketing services to a select clientele and company portfolio.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Bert Girigorie graduated from Morehouse College, a historically black college, and is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.

Relation Between Bert Girigorie and Wendy Williams

Bert Girigorie met Wendy Williams for the first time at a radio station in New York City called Kiss FM. He used to be a DJ at the club. Bert and Wendy Williams got to know each other after spending a lot of time together.

The couple started dating after their friendship blossomed into a series of informal get-togethers. Soon after that, Bert and Wendy made plans to get married. In 1994, after they had been officially declared husband and wife, they celebrated by having a little party.

After only five months of marriage, Bert and Wendy started living separately due to tension, misunderstandings, and conflicts. Unfortunately, their marriage did not last and they got a divorce in 1995, after only a year of being married.

What Went Wrong in the Marriage of Bert Girigorie and Wendy Williams?

Many things contributed to the breakdown of their marriage. Neither Bert Girigorie nor Wendy Williams made any effort to fix their marriage.

According to the 57-year-old, their marriage suffered greatly since Wendy's cocaine-fueled character was constantly on display and her natural condition was rarely maintained. He believes that Wendy Williams' apparent addiction is to blame for their marital problems.

Girigorie insists he had no idea she was using drugs until after the split when he recognized her strange behavior might have been due to her dependency.

Bert stated that strange occurrences started happening early on in their marriage. He believes Wendy merely changed identities. He claimed that he was unsure of the situation and had no idea what had occurred. Most of what she says and does puzzles Girigorie.

Bert Gregorie was at a loss to explain her strange behavior. There was a major argument, and the whole relationship suffered as a result. In this case, Girigorie spilled the beans.

Another Revelation

Girigorie claims that Williams and had a major argument during their honeymoon in Rio because Williams wanted to spend time apart from him.

He thought her bizarre behavior was childish and hypothesized that it was related to her possible drug use. Bert continued, saying that once the divorce was finalized, he heard talk about Wendy's supposed misdeeds being discussed in the presence of other men.

Despite Bert's strenuous denials, the TV star published an autobiography called "Wendy's Got The Heat" in which she claimed Girigorie harassed her.

According to Bert Girigorie, she cheated on him. Recent claims by Girigorie state that the host's acidic behavior drove her husband to despair.

Why Did Wendy Williams Leave Him Out Of The Biopic?

Wendy Williams has not yet explained her decision to ignore her first love, Bert Girigorie. When talking about their personal hardships, how can a person ever put her ex-husband out of her mind? They were together for at least a year.

In response to the film's depiction of Williams's complete disregard for Bert Girigorie, many viewers joked that they, too, had completely ignored their first marriages and carried the joke online to taunt Williams.

Life for Wendy Williams Has Been Nothing But Ups and Downs.

The 54-year-old was allegedly exposed as living in a sober house in Long Island City, Queens. But after learning that Kevin Hunter's mistress, Sharina Hudson, had conceived a child with him, she relapsed to old habits and took up drinking. The couple previously welcomed a son into the world in the year 2000; they named him Kevin Hunter, Jr. Williams was expecting their first child when he first cheated on her.

Wendy was so troubled by Kevin's cheating throughout their 25-year marriage that she decided to engage a private eye to look into his behavior. Wendy, who is 56 years old, officially separated from Kevin in January of 2020.
