Buhari refused to sign the law that allowed the parliament to invite the president

The council will reexamine the other 19 pieces of legislation it altered and that President Muhammadu Buhari refused to sign, according to Senator Ahmad Lawan, the president of the Nigerian Senate.

This was said by Senator Lawan at Tuesday's parliamentary session.

The house sent 35 pieces of legislation that it had altered to President Buhari for ratification in the final month of January.
But, last week the president approved 16 of the 35 bills she submitted to him.
The statute that guarantees financial independence for state legislatures and the courts, according to Senator Lawan, is one of the new laws that the President recently signed.
Except one of the 19 laws that the president declined to sign, such as the legislation allowing the National Assembly and state legislatures to invite the president or the governor to provide an explanation of some matters that they have the authority to enact.
And the modified statute enables the president or governor to be made to execute commands or the parliament's request.
Obi requests that the court provide him a new certificate of electoral fraud and invalidate the one that was issued to him by INEC.
The United States released a statement on Tuesday night denouncing the rise in voter fraud and other electoral crimes that it claimed were committed during the March 18 governorship elections.
