Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the majority leader of the House of Representatives, was taken into custody by the police for allegedly taking part in the murder of three people.

Doguwa is a member of Kano State's Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
