Gunmen Killed 22 People To Celebrate Their Friend 'Death' Happy Wedding In Katsina
At least 22 people have been confirmed dead and many others injured, in a brutal attack by bandits in Majifa village, in Kankara Local Government in Katsina State.
The terrible incident happened on Saturday at 4 o'clock in the morning.
Several sources have confirmed to our correspondent that the attackers are on their way back to the forests they came from, after attending the wedding of a notorious gunman, who is nicknamed the Death Mattress.
The owner of Katifar Mutuwa is married to his second wife in the area.
Katsina State Police Broadcasting Spokesperson, Gambo Isa, confirmed to our correspondent that the killing happened, but he said that at the time of compiling the story, he did not have the full details of the number of people killed.

A member of the village whose name we have given, who lives in Denmark, said that only one village was invaded by their attackers. "The rest of the townspeople who were killed or injured and went to Majifa for rescue from their villages, the attackers ambushed them and killed them.
"In other words, around 4 o'clock in the morning, you can see the attackers on their motorbikes approaching the Lamba forest, which is not far from Majifa. Then we realized that it was Mai Katifa who was celebrating the marriage of a Buffalo woman he had done in a hut in the Lamba forest.
"You know when the bandits celebrate, they eat cake or get drunk and do what they want. From there they attacked the village of Majifa and started shooting at the people. The villagers tried to protect the town."
He said that the attackers killed 17 Majifa people and many others were injured.
