How you can avoid defeat due to intense heat during fasting

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMet, has warned that severe heat will be experienced in some states of Nigeria.


In a statement issued on Sunday, NiMet said that the temperature which is expected to start from Monday may exceed 40 degrees Celsius.


The states that are predicted to experience an increase in hot weather include Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, Taraba, Adamawa, Oyo, and Kwara.


Then the Federal City of Abuja, Nasarawa, Benue, Bauchi, Gombe, and Borno.

Nimet said that the weather will be hot during the next two days.


Nimet said the states where the score will exceed 40 include some parts of Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Taraba, and Adamawa.


The agency advises people living in the affected states to drink enough water during the period.


However, the situation is coming at the same time that the Muslim community is observing the Ramadan fast in Nigeria and other countries of the world.
