In London Nigerian judges didn't meet Tinubu.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who will be the next president of Nigeria, has denied that he met with the president of Nigeria in London, England.
In a statement, Bayo Onanuga, who is the Director of Publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign Committee, said that the story was made up.
In the past few days, some newspapers and people on social media have been spreading the story that Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Olukayode Ariwoola, the Chief Minister of Nigeria, met in secret.
The story shows that the great prince made a mistake when he went to London to meet the soon-to-be president-elect in a wheelchair.
But the announcement that was made said that the story was made up to make Nigerians doubt that the APC party did well in the last election.
The statement said, "We strongly deny this story, with a strong voice, that the president-elect met with the head of Nigeria."
In the announcement, Mr. Onanuga said that Bola Tinubu had left Nigeria on Tuesday and was now resting in France because the election campaign had worn him out.
He said, though, that Tinubun will come to London before going to Saudi Arabia to do Umrah.
Tinubu was elected President of Nigeria in February, beating both Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Peter Obi of the Labor Party.
Atiku and Obi ran to court right away.
Four opposition parties in Nigeria have filed a lawsuit to challenge President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu's victory in the February 25 presidential election.
Hours before the deadline, PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar, LP candidate Peter Obi, AA candidate Solomon Okangbuan, and APM candidate Chichi Ojei all filed complaints with the Election Court to challenge Tinubu's victory. The country's constitution gave them the right to challenge the election results.
Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, the two main candidates, have asked the court to say that Tinubu did not win the election.
Peter Obi said that the votes were rigged in the states of Rivers, Lagos, Taraba, Benue, Adamawa, Imo, Bauchi, Borno, Kaduna, and Plateau.
Obi wants the court to take away the certificate of election fraud that INEC gave him and give him a new one.
The United States said in a statement on Tuesday night that there was an increase in voter fraud and other election crimes during the March 18 governorship elections.
