Kashim Shettima paid a visit to former Nigerian leaders
The newly elected vice president of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, paid a visit to the former presidents of Nigeria, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar in Minna, the capital of Niger State.
Shettima described the former leaders as elders and fathers of the country, saying that the incoming government will work with them to move the country forward."We will continue to contact them at any time to get advice on ways to solve the problems the country is facing," said Shettima.
Later, he led his team in greeting the Emir of Minna, Dr. Umar Farouq Bahago, where prayers were offered for the peace of the country.
