Major opposition parties have filed a lawsuit to challenge tinubu's victory

To contest Bola Ahmed Tinubu's election as president of Nigeria, four opposition groups in that country have launched a lawsuit. The election was placed on February 25.

Hours before the deadline, Tinubu's victory was challenged by PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar, LP Peter Obi, AA Solomon Okangbuan, and APM Chichi Ojei. They all filed complaints with the Electoral Court. They had the option to contest the election results because of the nation's constitution.

Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, the two leading candidates, have requested that the election complaints court rule that Tinubu did not win the poll.

In Rivers, Lagos, Taraba, Benue, Adamawa, Imo, Bauchi, Borno, Kaduna, and Plateau states, Peter Obi claimed that the elections were manipulated.
