Engr. Sen. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, he is the only former governor in Northern Nigeria, and the only politician in the North who built his followers, a building that they themselves can build others. Because he is the only politician who currently has 18 members of the Federal Assembly and two senators in his state. Despite the fact that he is in the opposition party, it is a new party that no one even knows about.
Kwankwaso sacrificed his success for the success of his followers. He lost the presidential seat he sought. But he brought the chairs of his followers. Among these members of parliament, there is one who was sponsored by Kwankwason for his studies, and today he is a member of the federal parliament. Similarly, some MPs, if you check their history, you will hear that they are not the sons of rich people, they are the sons of the poor. But because of Kwankwaso today they have become something in this country.
Kwankwaso has now focused on the struggle to ensure the success of the governorship and members of the state legislatures, about 40 that will be elected in Kano state. The struggle he is doing is day and night. Kwankwaso has planted his love in the hearts of most of the people of his state, in Kano state which has a collection of educated people, big businessmen, intellectuals, rich people, and mothers and fathers who are enlightened on daily issues. Then ask yourself what is the secret of that, the answer is one to two, the love of the community and not just selfishness, and to establish the good works that the community has benefited from, when he has the opportunity.
This is the kind of leader that every follower needs to have, not the leader that always needs to be in front of him. Even if you don't agree with Kwankwaso's politics, he is a man who must be called a real leader.
