The Association of Herbs Sellers in Gombe State Complains About the Distribution of 500 Million Naira Given to Traders by the Governor of Gombe State
Today Monday, the group of Gwari people who sell Gwari products including; Tomatoes, Onions, Potatoes, Attarugu and other products Gombe state branch under the leadership of Gombe state president, Alhaji Sani Waya, has complained about how the group has been isolated from the distribution of funds given by the state governor to be distributed to business groups which took place last Saturday.
The leader of the organization told our reporter that today they were sent 50 forms containing ten people in each form and the name will be given 20 thousand naira in each form, where each person will be given two thousand naira. The bill is about 1 Million Naira will be given to the members of the group across Gombe state and other local governments as a whole.
The share of organization has received contributions since the administration of the former Governor of Gombe State, Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje, at that time every year the organization received almost twice the contribution of food, fertilizer, and money.
Finally, the group wished the Governor of Gombe state to win the election for the second time and send a message of thanks to the AMATA group for changing their name and offer, they also requested the state government to review the system of distribution of money and how the group was isolated from all and how many they have across the state.
