The world is facing the threat of water scarcity - MDD

The globe is currently dealing with a major issue, according to Richard Connor, the editor-in-chief of the publication known as the Global Water Development Report released by the United Nations.

"Ten percent of the world's population currently experiences severe water scarcity. According to our analysis, three billion and 500 million people worldwide are without water for at least one month at a time. a minimum of one per year."

According to Mr. Connor, there is still a problem with the availability of drinking water throughout the world.

He stated that the issue "may become a menace to the world" if it is not resolved.

Usha Rao Monari, a representative of MDD University, which will organize the discussion on the topic of water, told the BBC that it is important to understand how to handle the money set aside for the provision of drinking water in the future.

There is a lot of water in the globe, and if we can manage it, we can continue to depend on it for a very long time, according to Monari.

"Governments ought to develop new revenue streams and water usage strategies, in my opinion. I believe that innovation and technology will make it easier to understand how to use and care for the water sector."

There will be 6,500 attendees at the meeting, which is being sponsored by the governments of Tajikistan and the Netherlands, including 100 ministers and head of state representatives from different nations.
