A Kannywood actor who is considered to be closer than any actor to the elected governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, aka Abba El-Mustapha, has stated that the new government that will be formed will go with actors even though most of them have opposed his candidacy.
El-Mustapha said this when he was talking to Majiyar Focus News Hausa, a Film magazine about the change of government and the way they look at the new governor.
El-Mustapha said: "Alhamdulillah, this is a victory for the people of Kano, the Kannywood industry, and the people of the country as a whole because if Kano is said to be Hausa, that's why said center.
"And as everyone knows, Kano State has become backward on many things.
"And in the case of the Kannywood industry, everyone has seen how it has stagnated and gone back to zero, which made us see that we also had to come out and contribute and the business was done with us. And now, thank God, God has brought us to victory now. And if nothing else we have learned life lessons now. But what is the most important lesson is that a person should stand on his true belief, it should be to help the community, by which the people will be encouraged to move forward, so stay here.
"And another great lesson that I learned and believe in is patience. Therefore, as long as you are patient in life, then success will come to you, so as long as you stay and follow what the people want, then God willing, your status will increase, your value will increase. she increased. And you don't contribute to the people because of something that will be given to you."
When we asked him how the majority of filmmakers rejected Kwankwasiyya's move in this election, El-Mustapha said: "Well, I always say whenever I am asked, that our film industry has been cut off until it has reached this stage. There are no survivors in it, and there are only a few left in it after she was killed, even though we, the filmmakers, were among those who contributed to the establishment of the government, but then it was emptied. the movement was abandoned, we were refused support. It turned out that nothing of the government came and we were returned to the people. This is why the market does not exist, the film industry has all gone online. It was very difficult, and one had to look for food and the business since it was known.
"So this is necessary and you have to go to the government and go and see if they will give you a small advertisement that you will get to feed your family.
"Therefore, I don't see the fault of the filmmakers who go back to them and follow the government, because they have found an advertisement that they support their families because the government will not give you the money unless you advertise for it if you do it to her and she is a bit nervous and gives it to you. This made all the actors follow the government.
"Well, we are the part that God has seen for the development of the people and seeking their development, and everyone knows that the government is not in their hands. It's fasting, just be patient with what you get. In this way, the mission was continued until the people accepted it to the level of success that we have achieved now, which is good news for the people because now most of the filmmakers have gone and wasted the journey. now they are starting to come back.
"And soon you will see them all come back. In the past, if we were laughed at, now we are admired. And this is the people's pride and adherence to the truth that brought us to this.
"And I said: every actor is a member of Kwankwasiyya because she gave him the privilege of being known as a professional. She provided him with the Film Censor Board, which improved the relationship between filmmakers and the government. Then financial and educational support was given in the Kwankwasiyya government, and everyone knows that filmmakers were recruited and taken to foreign countries such as India and others countries to further their education on the film industry. Then some courses were created at Maitama Sule University, and the school was created in Tiga. Therefore, I assure you that there is no film actor who is not a member of Kwankwasiyya, they just went there to get something to eat."
El-Mustapha commented on how his actors are returning since it was announced that Abba Kabir Yusuf won the election he did: we have our own oil.
