APC expelled the governorship candidate and senator-elect in Taraba
The APC party in Taraba state in the northeast of Nigeria has expelled its governorship candidate in the 2023 election, David Sabo Kente, on allegations of sabotage.
The party also said that it expelled the elected senator of Taraba and South David Jimkuta due to his accusations that she had cheated on her during the previous elections.
The chairman of the party in the state, Elsudi Ibrahim, said this at the press conference he held in Jalingo, the capital of the state.
Mr. Elsudi said that from today Sabo Kente no longer considers himself a member of the party.
Elsudi emphasized that he is still the legitimate chairman of the party in the state, as confirmed by the court, after the controversy that followed the vote of love by some members of the party's management committee.

Bashir Usman Gorau, a new member of the federal parliament representing the Gada/Goronyo constituency from Sokoto state, said one of his challenges was his fellow youths.
The newly elected Member of Parliament said that there is nothing that a young person cannot do unless he puts himself through it.
"Whatever you seek to improve your intentions, you will certainly obtain," he said.
