APC sacked the Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Omo-Agege over accusations of insulting the country
The APC, Delta state branch, has expelled the Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege from the party because of some crimes he is accused of committing.
His dismissal was contained in a document dated March 31, 2023, and bearing the signature of the state chairman of the party, Ulebor Isaac, on behalf of the state executive committee of the party.
According to the letter, all the leaders of the party have decided and approved the dismissal of Omo-Agege as a member of the party by the Executive Committee of Orogun Constituency and Ughelli North Local Government.
The letter said, "And based on the provisions of section 21.2 (1) (II) (VII) 21.3 and 21.5 (g) of the party constitution of 2022 (as amended) we have unanimously decided and approved the dismissal of Senator Ovie Omo Agege as a member of the party.
