Buhari Failed To Conduct Authentic Election In 2023, Says Senator Rabi'u Kwankwaso

 The presidential candidate of the NNPP party in the 2023 election, Senator Rabi'u Kwankwaso has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of failing to conduct a fair election in 2023.

 He said that the president did not do what was necessary to ensure that the election was conducted properly.

 He also accused the ruling APC party of rigging elections in some states, especially the presidential election.

 Kwankwaso alleged that the outcome of the election was not the choice of Nigerians.

 Speaking at the first meeting after the 2023 National Executive Council of the NNPP, the former Minister of Defense and former two-time governor of Kano State lamented that Nigerians have not been able to benefit from the positive change they are seeking.  .

 He also stated that Nigerians are tired of the ruling party, because he continued that the APC has gone back to buying votes with local and foreign money, and using thugs to suppress the right to vote.

 

 Senator Kwankwaso made a special appeal to the Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, who accused him of importing thugs from neighboring states and countries, as he also pointed out that there is involvement of some security forces in the violence.  related to elections.

 While accusing politicians of deliberately impoverishing Nigerians in order to buy votes during the election, he warned against winning at all costs, as he lamented how injustice leads to '  bandits, Boko Haram, and other conflicts that plagued this country.

 The National Leader of the NNPP regretted that there are many things that are affecting the Nigerian democracy.  He said that few people are benefiting from the system.

 While warning that, "Nigeria is ours and no one can drive us out of it", the leader expressed his hope that the judiciary will be a better place for all of us."

 He called on the leaders of the NNPP party to make use of the opportunity given to them before the 2027 election, and be diligent in carrying out the necessary activities in their constituencies.

 This comes as he called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to improve its operations in conducting elections in the future, where he complained that the party's logo was not printed on the ballot papers.  so he made his party lose the votes of its supporters in some places.

 He stated that even some international observers could not identify the NNPP party logo in the election documents.

 Therefore, he praised the party for their achievements, stating that many people are seeking to join before the 2027 elections.
