Customs Commission Appoints New Spokesperson
The Anti-Smuggling Agency that is Customs has appointed Abdullahi Aliyu Maiwada as the new spokesperson of the agency.
The Chairman of the National Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali, retired and ordered the appointment of CSC Maiwada after reviewing his merits and abilities over the years in the agency.
Maiwada was once the spokesperson for the Second Zone of the Customs Commission in Kaduna and held this position in Ogun State in the North West for many years.
He returned to the agency headquarters in 2020 where he became the liaison officer between the Customs press office and the customs officials in Nigeria.
Maiwada did his first degree at Bayero University and now has two-second degrees and a third degree in journalism.
