Kano Government Gives Students 3 Weeks Holiday Due to Ramadan Fasting
The Kano State Government has given students a three-week holiday to mark the end of the month of Ramadan.
The announcement by the Public Outreach Director of the Ministry of Education, Aliyu Yusuf, issued on Thursday ordered parents who have children in boarding schools to go and pick them up on Friday morning.
According to him, boarding school students will return to their schools on April 30, while commuter students will return on May 2.
He warned that they will take disciplinary action against all those who violate the order.
"Students and parents should make sure to follow the rules set for returning to school," said the announcement.
