Kano Government Gives Triumph Company 64 Shops In Money Exchange Market

 The Kano State Government has given the Triumph newspaper company its ownership of 64 shops in the new Modern Money Exchange Market that it has built in the premises of the company.

 The government said that the value of the 64 shops that it gave to the Triumph brand in the new market in Fagge Local Government is 1.4 billion Naira.

 The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the 64 stores given to the Triumph company accounted for one-quarter of the new market.

 The Managing Director of Triumph, Alhaji Lawan Sabo-Ibrahim, said that with 25% of the shares of the stores given to the state government in the market, the company will soon start generating revenue for the government.

 While handing over the shops, the representative of the Lamash Properties company that did the construction work, Hajiya Hadiza Abdulkadir, said, "In 2020, the state government gave them the joint project to build the New Modern Money Exchange Market at the Triumph company premises in Fagge.

 "The agreement provides for the return of the Triumph residence to Amana Real Estate Group in Kano and to give the company shops worth 1.4 billion naira."

 The Manager-Darakan Triumph, Alhaji Lawan Sabo-Ibrahim, said that the ownership of the shops in the exchange market will revive the company by providing him with money to buy new machines and tools and income for himself and the state government.

 He asked God to make this a way for the outgoing and incoming government to ensure the sustainability of the Triumph company.
