Nigeria will continue to deport its citizens in Sudan today Saturday
29 cars will arrive in Sudan on Saturday, according to the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Humanitarian Affairs, to transport the remaining Nigerians and students back to Nigeria.
The ministries provided more information about the predicament of Nigerian students impacted by the Sudan crisis in a joint statement they released.
The message instructs individuals who will be picked up to remain in the spot where they were directed and to only use the items they can physically hold in their hands, not to utilize any of the items that are popular on social media.
According to the statement, Nigerian embassy representatives would remain in Khartoum to make sure that the students and other local Nigerians are evacuated.
In order to make it easier to identify them when they cross the border into Egypt at Aswan, they were also instructed to keep their exit documents.
The notification stated right away that 13 trucks carrying 637 passengers were kidnapped from Khartoum and are currently being inspected at the Egyptian border.
The Nigerian Emergency Relief Agency had previously stated that beginning on Friday morning, the country's students who are currently studying in the Sudan would be returned after they landed at Aswan, Egypt.
According to the president of the emergency assistance organization, the Air Peace plane will fly the mission of removing the students and other Nigerians at 6 pm to Aswan.
However, there has been no announcement of the plane's arrival as of yet, which has frightened the parents and the rest of the nation.
