NNPC has denied that N20bn was lost from its corruption

Nigeria's largest oil company, NNPC says it is not aware of the N20bn loss from its corruption.

The spokesperson of the company, Garba Deen Muhammad in a statement said that the company is not aware of the allegation made by the online news agency, Sahara Reporters that the company has paid some experts for forgery N20bn.

The statement said, "It is regrettable that the media has made this serious accusation without looking at the consequences of doing so. The claim of N20bn wastage is a blatant lie."

Regarding the claim made by the Ogun government on the tax money it owes to PPMC, NNPC said that PPMC has challenged the claim.

Later, the Ogun government referred the matter to the court, but the NNPC said it would prove its facts.
