NNPCL has spent over one billion dollars on laying the gas pipeline – Kyari
The Nigerian oil company NNPCL said that the gas pipeline from Ajaokuta to Kaduna to Kano cost more than $1.1 billion to build.
The CEO of the company, Malam Mele Kyari, told the press this when he went to check on the project in Kogi state, as the NAN news service reported.
Kyari said that the company would keep funding these projects, which it is doing step by step.
He also said that NNPCL is trying, even though it is in charge of running the project.
"NNPCL has spent more than $1.1 billion on the project so far, and luckily, we haven't lost any projects yet."
He also said that the company is ready to help build infrastructure projects in the country by working with the government, government agencies, and other organizations.
