The conflict in Sudan can be similar to that of Syria and Libya - Hamdok
Abdallah Hamdok, who used to be the Prime Minister of Sudan, worried that the lack of security in the country could be like that in Syria and Libya.
This is what Mr. Hamdok said while there are reports of airstrikes on parts of Khartoum that are controlled by RSF troops.
Both sides in the war say the other is breaking the deal to stop fighting. Because of the war, many people had to leave their houses.
The former Prime Minister called the war foolish and said that no one will win, but that many lives will be lost because of it.
He said that the international community needs to work together to get the leaders of the fighting forces in the country and the leader of the RSF forces to sit down at the reconciliation table and end the war.
This speech was given by Mr. Hamdok at a business meeting in Kenya that was put on by a man named Mo Ibrahim.
He said that the two most powerful and wealthy generals are fighting to become the new Bashir. By Bashir, he meant the former president Omar al Bashir, who was on the throne for 30 years and is now wanted by the criminal court.
