At the president-elect's residence in Abuja, dubbed "Defence House," Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the national leader of the APC.
The Senate's president, Senator Ahmad Lawan, his deputy, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the party's publicity secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, and other dignitaries attended the meeting, which was held in secret.
The party's leader made no further comments on what was discussed in the meeting after it ended.
The meeting takes place two days after Tinubu returned from a vacation in Europe and two hours after he went back to the mansion designated for the president-elect.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian president who will follow President Muhammadu Buhari, will take the oath of office on May 29.
