 Which European countries have already evacuated their people from Sudan?

While the 72-hour ceasefire agreement has come into effect in Sudan, today, Tuesday, countries will continue to evacuate their people.

Here's what we know so far:

European Union - EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell said Monday that more than 1,000 EU citizens have been evacuated.

France has transported 400 people from different countries to Djibouti.

The Netherlands said it sent two planes to transport its citizens to Jordan.

Italy evacuated nearly 200 people in a military operation on Sunday, freeing all citizens who "asked to leave" and others including representatives of the Vatican.

Germany said on Monday three flights had left and a fourth was on its way carrying 400 people.

Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania said that their citizens were evacuated with the help of foreign countries. About 65 people from these countries are awaiting evacuation.

A Spanish military plane took 100 passengers and departed from Sudan on Sunday to Djibouti, where 30 of them were nationals, and some were mostly from Latin American countries.
