Buhari, Tinubu, and other important people in Nigeria praise Hilda Baci for making history in the cooking competition by not stopping for hours.

In a statement made by the president's spokesman, Femi Adesina, "President Buhari praised the young and experienced chef for showing her talent and passion for her job, helping the economy, and training others in the business."

Other well-known people in the country have sent words of congratulations on this success.

"I'm glad about what Hilda Effiong Bassey has done. She is a great example of how skilled Nigerians are and what they can do. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former president, wrote on his Instagram page, "We are very proud of her."

Both Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president, and Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labor Party, sent words of praise to the young woman.

The 27-year-old chef beat the record set by Lata Tandon, an Indian woman who cooked for 87 hours and 45 minutes straight in 2019 to set the "Guinness World Record" for the longest cooking time without stopping.

Hilda Baci has had a lot of success, but the Guinness World Records has not officially recognized it.

Many Nigerians are confused and afraid about why Guinness hasn't yet recognized this accomplishment.

Guinness World Records said on Twitter that they were aware of the strange attempt and would start looking into all the proof before confirming it.
