TARABA: Three people were injured by a bomb in Jalingo.
The Taraba State Police have stated that a very loud event happened at a bar in the Daurawa area of Jalingo local government, which is the capital of Taraba state.
The state police said it was a hand bomb, and they said at least three women were hurt by it.
One of them is being treated at a medical hospital in Jalingo because he was hurt the most. The other two were released from the hospital right away.
SP Usman Abdullahi, a spokeswoman for the state police, told Voice of America that security forces have now blocked off the area where the incident happened to keep people from going there.
Comrade Umar Usman, who is an expert on Nigerian security, thinks that the state government and state police should work together to find out where these traditional bombs are made.
He said that this will stop these cars from getting into so many accidents.
