In a video that went popular on social media, someone who was thought to be the singer was seen being rude to a police officer. Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector General of Police, has asked for the singer Seun Kuti to be arrested because he is accused of beating a police officer.

In a statement released by the National Police, the Inspector General of Police said that the Lagos State Police Commissioner had done a thorough investigation into the issue.
But in reaction to the singer's answer, in a message he posted on his Twitter page, he said he had proof that the policeman planned to kill him and his family.
The singer also said that he is glad that an investigation will be done on him and that he will help in every way he can.
He then told the head of the police force to punish anyone who was found to be guilty.
Seun Kuti is the son of late Nigerian singer Fela Kuti, who was very popular in the 1970s and 1980s.
