There was an exchange of fire between the NDLEA officer and drug traffickers in Lagos

The National Drug Law Enforcement Administration (NDLEA) said that its officers discovered 8,852 kilos of Wiwi (Cannabis).

Femi Babafemi, a spokesman for the agency, said this about Laahdi in a statement. He said that the officials were able to do this because they got secret information.

He said that the officer caught the drug dealers by surprise at 4:51 a.m. last Thursday at Bauna on Eleko Beach road in Lekki, Lagos state.

He said that the cops and the gunmen who were following the smugglers in two trucks with guns for about 30 minutes.

Femi said that the NDLEA officers won a big battle against the people who were with the stolen goods when they ran into the woods.
