 Cattle are easier to graze on Nigerian government - Buhari

Muhammadu Buhari, who used to be president of Nigeria, has said that taking care of his cattle is easier for him than taking care of the people of Nigeria.

Buhari said this at a dinner party in Abuja the night before he went back to his hometown of Daura on Monday. He had just given Bola Ahmed Tinubu control of Nigeria.

Buhari praised the results of the 2023 election and thanked Nigerians for voting for the president they needed.

The country's previous president said that the 2023 general election was a big deal because it put the country on the path to democracy.

"I went back to my home country to take care of my sheep and cattle, which are easier to care for than Nigerians," said Buhari.

Buhari thanked the heads of state and officials who came to Tinubu's inauguration and wished them well for their support.
