Niger Delta Postgraduate Scholarship Program, sponsored by Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC), 2021
Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria is a petroleum exploration company that has a history of awarding scholarships to students.
They offer a number of scholarship programs, however for the time being we will just be concentrating on the Nigeria Delta postgraduate scholarship.
The legislature decided that indigenous students should benefit from what was being obtained from their environment because the Niger Delta is where Nigeria's oil exploration takes place, leading to the creation of NDDC.

The shell postgraduate scholarship will cover the following
⦁ Tuition fee
⦁ One economy return flight ticket from Nigeria to the United Kingdom
⦁ A contribution towards living expenses only.
Please be aware that the living expenses are only based on the stated living rates reported by the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).
Additionally, the shell postgraduate scholarship is categorized as a non-committal scholarship, meaning that neither Shell nor the other partners of the scholarship are obligated to provide you with employment of any type once you graduate.

The Shell Postgraduate Scholarship eligibility requirements.
Those interested in the scholarship must:
Candidates should have an IELTS score of at least 6.5.
Before submitting an application for the scholarship, students must have received an admissions offer to attend one of the universities listed.
He or she needs to be a National Youth Service Corps graduate.
He or she must be a native of the Nigerian regions that are supported.
He or she must express a clear intention to return to Nigeria after the study period is over.
