 Awards for Scholarships under the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) for 2023–2024

The 2018–2019 Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Nomination Interview for Scholarship Award for: is being held at the invitation of the Honourable Minister of Education (HME), Mallam Adamu Adamu.

Russian, Moroccan, Algerian, Serbian, Hungarian, Egyptian, Turkish, Cuban, Ukrainian, Japanese, and

Russia (for those whose first degrees were earned in Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, etc. all offer postgraduate (PG) programmes.

 Subject of Study

Engineering, geology, agriculture, sciences, math, languages, environmental sciences, sports, law, social sciences, biotechnology, architecture, medicine (very limited), etc., are all available at the undergraduate level.

All fields at the postgraduate level (Master's and Ph.D.).

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY

A minimum of five (5) Distinctions (As and Bs) in the Senior Secondary School Certificates, WAEC (May/June) only in the subjects pertinent to their fields of study, including English Language and Mathematics, are required of all applicants for undergraduate degree courses. Certificates must be no older than two years (2016 and 2017). The age range is between 18 and 20.

All applicants for Undergraduate degree courses must have a First Degree with at least a 2nd Class Upper Division. POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS. The applicants who have previously received foreign awards must have worked in Nigeria for at least two (2) years after receiving their degree or diploma. N.Y.S.C. must have been completed by all applicants. The maximum age for a master's degree is 35, and for a doctorate, it is 40.

PLEASE NOTE:

Since the BEA countries do not speak English, applicants should be ready to enrol in a one-year foreign language course in their preferred country, which will serve as the primary medium of teaching.

ii) Before February 15, 2018, all applicants for Hungarian Scholarships must go to the website www.stipendumhungaricum.hu.

2. In addition to the aforementioned 2.0, print the completed form and bring it to the interview location.

The only way to know for sure if you're going to get a job is if you have a job. At the various interview locations, two sets of completed application forms should be provided with the accompanying attachments:

i. Two sets of photocopies of academic transcripts and letters of recommendation from previous schools attended, along with the originals for verification;

ii.) Only one certificate, the WAEC of May/June, is acceptable.

Undergraduate applicants;

two versions of the National Population Commission's birth certificate;

iv.) A properly signed, date-stamped, and signed State of Origin/LGA certificate;

v.) Four (4) passport-sized, colored photos with a white backdrop; and

vi) Only academic transcripts and certificates of NYSC discharge or exemption will be accepted for postgraduate applications.

 NB: The following must be submitted to the Federal Scholarship Board by candidates who have been recommended by the Board:

i) Authenticated copies of academic credentials; ii) the data page of a valid passport from another country; and

Specific medical reports from government hospitals, item iii.

iv) Where required, a police clearance certificate.

Scholarship Value

The following timetable applies to the total scholarship value:

The following are the countries where the above-mentioned companies are located: the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Any of the aforementioned countries is responsible for tuition and lodging, while the Nigerian government takes care of the following.

While the government of Nigeria handles the following;

• $500 per month for supplements.
• $250 per year for winter clothing.
• $100 per month for health insurance.
• $500 per year for exclusively medical scholars.
• A PG research grant of up to $1000 per year was applicable.
• N100,000 - Travel expenses for PG scholars, if applicable
• N60,000 - Takeoff for UG Scholars Was Applicable
