NITDA Coursera Scholarship Course 2 – As part of the Federal Government's plan to create 1 million jobs in the digital economy, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in partnership with Coursera, gives you the chance to build skills that can help you get a job in the digital economy.
Nigerians will be able to get professional certifications from some of the best US schools and tech companies in the world, like Meta, Google, and IBM, with the help of these scholarships. The person applying must choose one certification programme from each of Categories A and B.
Category A: (IT job Pathway) has a total of 19 professional certification programmes to help you start a successful IT job. Each programme is made up of a number of related courses that are meant to give students the in-depth knowledge and real skills they need to get a job. When you finish all of the courses in the programme, you'll get a certificate of success. But you won't get the professional certification until you've taken all of the required classes in the programme.
Category B: (Complementary Skills Pathway) has 4 certification programmes you can choose from to improve your IT job and your skills with digital productivity tools, entrepreneurship, and freelancing.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday, June 14, 2023. The application period starts on May 31, 2023, and ends on June 14, 2023.
