Pete Edochie and his wife celebrate their anniversary, and the month of May elicits feelings.

On Sunday, October 2, veteran actor Pete Edochie and his wife, Josephine, celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.

May Edochie, the wife of Edochie's son, Yul, congratulated the pair on Instagram. Her comment, however, prompted outrage on social media.

After Yul welcomed a son with his second wife, Judy Austin, in July, his estranged marriage became the focus of social media trends.

"Pls fam join me to celebrate the great @peteedochie and his adorable wife," she wrote on Instagram. We thank the Almighty for the gift of life. 53 years and still counting! May God continue to strengthen and bless you both."

In response to the comment, Instagram user @akosuamansah_ stated, "She didn't use father-in-law. Legend, happy anniversary."

"She's tactful not to call them father-in-law and mother-in-law," @euphrosa commented. Pete Edochie and his wife are fantastic. "Everyone's white will be stained by the prodigal son."
