Over 45 thousand worthy students in North America have received awards totaling close to $60 million through the Burger King Scholars program. Our objective is to award one scholarship for each BK® restaurant in North America, which would need an annual budget of almost $7 million!

Since 2000, We Have Given Almost $55 Million To Over 45,000 Students Throughout North America Through The Burger King Scholars Program. Our objective is to award one scholarship for each BK restaurant in North America, which would come to a total of more than $7 million annually!

The Burger King Scholars Program was established in honor of James "Jim" W. McLamore, a co-founder of Burger King, and offers high school students, BK employees, and their families scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $50,000. Scholarships Are Meant To Help With The Post-Secondary Vocational/Technical School Or College Attendance Expenses. Through an application process, recipients are chosen based on their extracurricular activities, work experience, grade point average (GPA), and community service. The Foundation Gave Nearly 4,000 Students Scholarships Worth Over $4.6 Million in 2022 Alone.

The 2023–2024 Cycle Application Period Opens October 16, 2023, and Ends December 15, 2023.
