Liverpool have signed Japan captain Wataru Endo to fill their midfield gap

Liverpool Football Club bought Wataru Endo from Stuttgart FC for 19 million euros, on a 4-year contract, although the work permit documents are still being filled.

Endo, a 30-year-old Japanese, is said to be used by Liverpool to replace Caicedo who escaped and Lavia who both went to Chelsea as we mentioned.

Manager Jurgen Klopp stated that Liverpool will use Endo as a full-back even though he was bought to fill the midfield position.

Endo, who is the captain of the Japanese national team, was bought by Liverpool to fill the gap in their central defense following the departure of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Naby Keita in addition to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
