Saudi army killed thousands of Ethiopians - HRW
Human Rights Watch has accused the forces working to protect the border of Saudi Arabia for opening fire on Ethiopian immigrants, where they have killed thousands since last year.
Information says that most of the migrants are trying to enter Saudi Arabia from Yemen, after fleeing the war in their country.
The Human Rights Watch said that it discovered and confirmed the killing after the underground investigation it conducted, where it said that this killing is unfortunate, and this can increase the number of violence that is happening in the East African countries.
HRW said that a 20-year-old woman who spoke with her confirmed that the Saudi border forces opened fire on them when they tried to enter the country, shortly after they were released from prison by the Yemeni authorities. saying that she barely survived.
We were just walking when we heard that they opened fire on us like rain, so we scattered, some ran and some went to bed, while we were crying and some died immediately."
The young woman also added that
Even now, when I close my eyes, I can see a young man whose two legs were cut off by the shot, shouting and saying, "Are you going to leave me now?" Please don't go and leave me here, but that's how we ran because we couldn't save him."
Even clarifying the head of the research department of the organization, Nadia Hardman said that this is a lack of faith and it is unfortunate that the organization will not accept it.
However, even when the French news agency AFP contacted the Saudi authorities, they denied the allegations.
