 The King Salman Charity Center of Saudi Arabia has started heart surgery in Nigeria

The King Salman Charity Center of Saudi Arabia has launched the operation of heart surgery for adults in Kano State, where a team of 20 volunteer doctors conducted it in collaboration with the International Organization of Muslim Nations.

Since the start of the project, the team of patriotic volunteer doctors at the center have performed four major heart surgeries that have been successful. In all the surgeries that were done, the doctors showed their skills and compassion, which showed a good example of the efforts of the doctors to cure the sick and increase the confidence of the needy.

The work is part of the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Department of Social Welfare, i.e. the King Salman Charity Center to support the health sector in Nigeria, and to establish its operational management system. among the people of Saudi Arabia, based on the goals set by the kingdom to be achieved by 2030.

This cooperation is a testimony to the power of cooperation to provide relief in times of crisis, where groups and agencies that are far from each other will join forces to change the lives of the people.

When the voluntary health project was launched in Kano State, it showed good compassion and feeling for humanity during the crisis. In all the heart surgeries that have been done, the changes that have been seen have been recorded, which shows the great influence and kindness that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is implementing in Nigeria.

If it can be remembered, in June, the kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to establish a heart surgery center in Kano to reduce the pain of the illness that requires heart surgery in the country.

Khalid Ahmad Al-adamawi, the Saudi Consul General in Nigeria, who visited Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, briefed the governor on the heart surgery being done at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH).

A few days ago, the King Salman Aid Center decided to provide voluntary nursing work to treat people with urinary tract infections in Kano state. From 6 to 11 August 2023, volunteer doctors performed 65 surgeries.
