 There is a need to declare an emergency law on mosquito-bite fever - Nigerian House of Representatives

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Immunodeficiency, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Member of Parliament Amobi Ogah has urged the federal government to enact a state of emergency against malaria.

He requested this in a statement he issued to commemorate World Malaria Day 2023.

World Malaria Day is celebrated every August 20.

The theme of the 2023 festival is, the fight against the deadly mosquito in the world.

Ogah said considering the threat of malaria to the community, everything must be done to eradicate the deadly mosquito.
