 There is still no specific date for the return of Emirates flights to the United Arab Emirates in Nigeria

The federal government has withdrawn its earlier announcement regarding the resumption of flights from the United Arab Emirates and Etihad Airlines in Nigeria.

The Minister of Civil Aviation and Civil Aviation, Festus Keyamo, said that there is no time that the two airlines will continue to operate in Nigeria.

This statement coincides with the first statement made by the presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale after the meeting between President Bola Tinubu and his Arab counterpart Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Monday.

Ngelale said that after the meeting, Emirates Airline will resume flights to Nigeria without delay.

However, Keyamo who spoke at the African Aviation Summit closed in Abuja on Thursday, said that the agreement is being finalized.
