Roger Young is married to Neil deGrasse Tyson, an important American astronomer. They have two kids together and have been together for more than thirty years. How much do you know about Neil deGrasse Tyson's wife?

A lot of Neil deGrasse Tyson's fans already know that he is married to Alice Young. She often goes with him to events with the red carpet. She is as smart and a mathematical scientist as her husband.

A lot of people know Alice because she is married to Neil DeGrasse Tyson's wife. It's too bad that not much is known about her. I bet you didn't know these quick things about the physicist's wife. 

1. She got married in 1988 

In graduate school at the University of Texas, Austin, Neil Degrasse Tyson and Alice Young met. Neil thinks that they met for the first time in physics class. But because they had different styles, Alice didn't notice him right away. Alice was the type of student who liked sitting in the front. But Neil Tyson is more of a guy who sits in the back of the class. They went on a few dates and got married in 1988. 

2. Alice Young has two kids of her own. 

Alice and her husband are very proud of their two kids. Their girl was their first child, and they named her Miranda after one of Uranus' moons. They have a boy named Travis as well. 

Neil deGrasse Tyson's family lives in the lower part of Manhattan. Their daughter went to and graduated from Harvard. She worked as a special education teacher in New York and her major was East Asian studies. She lives with her family in a lovely house in lower Manhattan, New York City. 

3. She is a loyal wife 

Alice Young and her husband have a difficult but happy marriage. Before they met, neither of them was married. They've been together for over 30 years. People have said that Neil Degrasse Tyson sexually assaulted a woman. Between November and December 2018, four women came forward to say they were raped by him. Several things were said to have happened, such as rape, rude words, and groping. 

Alice Young has stuck by her husband through all of these claims. There haven't been any stories that show their family is unhappy or tense. 

4. Her husband was named the s*exiest astrophysicist alive 

He is an American astronomer who a lot of people know. But what they don't know is that she became the sexiest astrophysicist living. People magazine called him the "Sexiest Astrophysicist Alive."
