China has increased financial support to restore water conservation areas in the areas affected by the earthquake
China's Ministry of Finance and Water Resources has allocated RMB 55 million, equivalent to US$7.75 million, to restore water storage facilities damaged in Gansu and Qinghai provinces after the 6.2-magnitude earthquake and It happened on Monday evening.
The number of people injured as a result of the 6.2-magnitude earthquake that hit Gansu province in the northwestern part of China reached 782 in Gansu, where by 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, the number of dead reached 113.
According to reports, the earthquake killed 21 people in Qinghai province. As of 4 pm today, 198 people have been reported injured in Qinghai as a result of the disaster, while 13 others are missing. (Ibrahim Yaya)
