Elon Musk has gone from being the richest man in the world
For the first time in nine months, Elon Musk has gone from being the richest man in the world.
Jeff Bezos replaced Musk, after his Tesla shares fell 7 percent on Monday.
Bloomberg's wealth index shows that Musk now has a net worth of $197.7 billion, while Beros has $200.3 billion.
This is also the first time that the billionaire, who is 60 years old in the world, the owner of Amazon has held this position of Bloomberg's world's richest people since 2021.
The global gap between Musk, 52, and Bezos, who was previously worth $142 billion, is narrowing as Tesla and Amazon's shares surge.
Although both companies are among the fastest growing in the US stock market, Amazon's stock has fallen since 2022 to become the strongest.
While Tesla's is falling by almost 50 percent since its peak in 2021.
